Things to Note

Preparing for your lab visit doesn't have to be complicated. We've made it easy by breaking down what you need to do before arriving. A few simple steps ensure you're all set for a quick, comfortable visit and reliable results.

What do I bring?
1. Requisition Form
A valid, fully completed requisition form for the tests ordered by your doctor/healthcare provider must be provided.
2. A Valid form of Identification
Bring A valid form of identification with you.
What do I wear?
Choose short sleeves or clothing with loose sleeves that roll up easily. This makes blood draws faster and more comfortable for everyone. Avoid tight or restrictive sleeves, and wear clothes that help you to feel calm and relaxed during your appointment.
For drug testing, avoid excessive or baggy clothing.
Forms of Identification
A valid form of government issued identification must be produced. We accept National ID cards, passports, driver's licence.
Your identification must show:

1. First and last Name
2. Date of birth
3. Address
Accepted Insurance
Currently we only accept Sagicor Cards. For the other insurance companies please ask for a form at reception.

If your test is not covered under health insurance plan, we may ask you for payment to process your tests.
We accept:1. Cash
2. Cheque
3. Visa
4. MasterCard
5. Debit card.
Preparing your child for a lab test
1. Talk to your Doctor
Before booking, talk to your doctor about test requirements. Different tests need different preparationincluding fasting, medication timing, and more. Confirm with your doctor exactly what your child needs.
2. Work with your child Schedule
If fasting is required, book a morning appointment so your child doesn't get too hungry or tired waiting. Don't forget a snack for after! If fasting isn't needed, let them eat beforehand to prevent lightheadedness. Also avoid scheduling during nap time, and bring their favorite toy to keep them calm and comfortable during the visit.
Specific Test Preparation
Specific tests require fasting or other forms of preparation in advance. Please read the Patient Test Instructions for test-specific instructions based on the test your physician ordered. For any questions or inquiries, do not hesitate to contact us.
