Do I need to have a physician to get blood tests?
Doctor requested tests support medical guidance and interpretation oftest results along with continuity of care. If you do not have a doctors requisition we have an inhouse doctor available.

What tests do I need to fast for
Please speak with your requesting doctor, but the following tests usually require fasting:
blood glucose, cholesterol/lipid profile, chem 20 panel, fasting insulin.
What insurance cards are accepted?
Currently we only accept Sagicor Cards. For the other insurance companies, please ask for a form at reception.

What discounts are available?
BARP, City of Bridgetown (COB) and Barbados Union of Teachers (BUT) members 10%.
How long does it take to get results?
This depends on the tests you are getting , most basic tests are available in 24 to 48 hrs. For more information on your specific tests feel free to ask or click below to visit our test directory

Can I use a requisition for another lab at chemscreen?
Yes you can, the result will be delivered by hard copy or email to the requesting Doctor
